An Imitation Lab-Grown Aquamarine (often called a "simulant") is a material that mimics the appearance of aquamarine but does not share its chemical or physical properties. While a "synthetic" aquamarine is real beryl grown in a lab, an "imitation" is typically a different, more affordable crystal or glass-ceramic designed to achieve the perfect "sea-foam" blue color.
We use the most common high-quality imitation: Synthetic Blue Spinel, It is chemically a spinel (MgAl2O4) but is grown to match the aquamarine hue. It is actually harder and tougher than real aquamarine.

Moissanite is a unique mineral (SiC) with properties that often outperform traditional gemstones:

☆Hardness: Rated at 9.25 on the Mohs scale. It is the second hardest gemstone in the world (surpassed only by diamond), making it incredibly resistant to scratching and ideal for daily wear.

☆Refractive Index (Brilliance): Moissanite has a refractive index of 2.65–2.69, which is actually higher than a diamond (2.42). This makes it more "brilliant" (white light return).

☆Dispersion (Fire): It has 0.104 dispersion, more than double that of a diamond. This is what creates the famous "rainbow flash" or "disco ball" effect when the stone hits the sunlight.

THE D Color VVS1
A D Color VVS1 Moissanite represents the absolute "pinnacle" of quality for this gemstone. In the world of moissanite, these grades signify a stone that is visually indistinguishable from a high-end, colorless diamond to the naked eye, often surpassing it in pure brilliance.
